We have been solving addition and subtraction problems with a buddy. We learnt about team work 
and using our Maths skills to count on and back to solve counting problems.

Harold came to Visit us at Kaniere School to teach us about how we can be bucket fillers by being kind to others and being part of a team.

We have been practising in our class and in the playground to be ‘Bucket fillers’ to our friends and always be kind.

We begin our day stretching, and moving our bodies so we are ready for learning.

We learnt how to ring 111 in an emergency and who to ask for in different emergencies.

We practised  putting someone in the recovery position and we always made sure that we could keep ourselves safe as well.

We found out that school in thePast was very different from school in the present.

We needed to write on chalk boards and use ink , and a dipping pen to write with, being careful to blot it first.

We learnt that the teachers in the past were very different as well.

It was a great day had by all.

Weka created Cubes today as part of our 3D Shape investigations.

We have been looking for cubes and other shapes in our classroom.
